At InkLab, we are committed to delivering your custom 3D printed products safely and efficiently. This Shipping Policy outlines our dispatch times, delivery areas, shipping charges, and related terms.


1. SHIPPING COVERAGE


1.1 Delivery Areas


Primary Service Area: Delhi NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida)
Extended Coverage: Pan India (all serviceable pin codes)


1.2 International Shipping


Currently, we do not offer international shipping. We only deliver within India.


1.3 Serviceable Pin Codes


We deliver to most pin codes across India. During checkout, you can verify if your pin code is serviceable. If your area is not currently serviceable, please contact us for alternative arrangements.


2. DISPATCH AND DELIVERY TIME


2.1 Standard Products


Dispatch Time: 3-5 business days from order confirmation

Delivery Time: 3-7 business days after dispatch (varies by location)

Total Timeline: 6-12 business days from order placement

2.2 Hand-Painted/Premium Products


Dispatch Time: 5-7 business days from order confirmation

Delivery Time: 3-7 business days after dispatch

Total Timeline: 8-14 business days from order placement

2.3 Custom/Made-to-Order Products


Dispatch Time: 7-10 business days (or as communicated at order placement)
Delivery Time: 3-7 business days after dispatch
Total Timeline: 10-17 business days from order placement


2.4 Express/Same-Day Delivery (Delhi NCR Only)


Availability: Select products and pin codes only
Order Cut-off Time: Before 2:00 PM for same-day delivery
Delivery: Same day by 10:00 PM or next business day
Additional Charges: ₹150-₹300 (varies by location and product size)
Note: Available only for in-stock items, not for custom orders


2.5 Business Days Definition


Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding:

  • Sundays

  • National public holidays

  • State-specific holidays affecting logistics operations


3. SHIPPING CHARGES


3.1 Standard Shipping Rates


Delhi NCR (Local Delivery):

  • Orders above ₹999: FREE SHIPPING

  • Orders below ₹999: ₹75 shipping charge


Rest of India (Metro Cities):

  • Orders above ₹1,499: FREE SHIPPING

  • Orders below ₹1,499: ₹125 shipping charge


Rest of India (Non-Metro/Remote Areas):

  • Orders above ₹1,999: FREE SHIPPING

  • Orders below ₹1,999: ₹175 shipping charge


3.2 Size and Weight-Based Charges


For oversized or heavy products (above 2kg or dimensions exceeding 40x40x40 cm):

  • Standard shipping charges may not apply

  • Actual shipping cost will be calculated and communicated during order placement

  • Delivery timeline may be extended for oversized items


3.3 COD Charges


Cash on Delivery orders may have an additional handling fee of ₹40-₹60 depending on order value and delivery location.


3.4 Bulk Orders


Shipping charges for bulk orders (10+ items) will be calculated separately and communicated before order confirmation.


4. SHIPPING PROCESS


4.1 Order Processing


  1. Order Confirmation: You receive confirmation within 24 hours

  2. Production: Product is printed and quality-checked

  3. Packaging: Product is carefully packed with protective materials

  4. Dispatch: Product is handed over to logistics partner

  5. Tracking: You receive tracking information via email/WhatsApp


4.2 Tracking Your Order


  • Tracking details will be shared within 24 hours of dispatch

  • You can track your order using the AWB/tracking number provided

  • For queries, contact us with your order number


4.3 Packaging Standards


All products are packed with:

  • Bubble wrap or foam protection for fragile items

  • Sturdy corrugated boxes appropriate for product size

  • Tamper-proof sealing

  • Clear shipping labels

  • "Handle with Care" stickers for delicate products


5. DELIVERY PARTNERS


We partner with reliable courier services including:

  • Blue Dart

  • Delhivery

  • DTDC

  • Dunzo/Porter (for express local delivery in Delhi NCR)

  • Other reputed logistics partners


The choice of delivery partner depends on your location and product type to ensure safe and timely delivery.


6. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS AND FAILURES


6.1 Delivery Attempts


Our logistics partners typically make 2-3 delivery attempts. If delivery fails after multiple attempts, the package will be returned to our facility.


6.2 Reasons for Delivery Failure


  • Recipient unavailable at delivery address

  • Incorrect/incomplete address provided

  • Refused delivery

  • Premises locked/inaccessible

  • Contact number unreachable


6.3 Re-Delivery


If delivery fails:

  • You will be notified via SMS/email

  • You can reschedule delivery with the courier partner

  • Alternatively, contact us for re-dispatch arrangements

  • Re-dispatch charges may apply if delivery failed due to incorrect information


6.4 Return to Origin (RTO)


If package is returned to us due to:

  • Customer's Fault: (Wrong address, unavailability, refused delivery)

  • Refund will be issued minus shipping charges (both ways)

  • Re-dispatch possible with fresh shipping charges

  • Courier's Fault: (Damaged, lost, incorrect delivery attempt)

  • Full refund or free re-dispatch

  • No charges deducted


7. DELIVERY DELAYS


7.1 Estimated Timelines


Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary due to:

  • Logistics partner delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Public holidays and festivals

  • Government restrictions

  • Remote location accessibility

  • High order volumes during sale periods


7.2 Notification of Delays


We will notify you promptly if we anticipate significant delays beyond estimated timelines.


7.3 Compensation for Delays


While we strive for timely delivery, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. However:

  • For delays beyond 7 days of estimated delivery: Contact us for resolution

  • We may offer discount codes for future purchases as goodwill gesture

  • Refund may be issued if delay is unreasonable (on case-by-case basis)


8. SPECIAL SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS


8.1 Providing Delivery Instructions


During checkout, you can provide:

  • Preferred delivery time slots (subject to courier availability)

  • Landmark information for easier location

  • Gate code or security instructions

  • Alternate contact numbers


8.2 Signature Requirement


For orders above ₹2,000, signature on delivery may be required for security purposes.


8.3 Address Changes


  • Address can be modified within 12 hours of order placement (before dispatch)

  • After dispatch, contact the courier partner directly for address changes

  • We are not responsible for delivery failures due to address changes post-dispatch


9. DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS


9.1 Damaged Delivery


If your product arrives damaged:

  • DO NOT ACCEPT the delivery if outer packaging shows significant damage

  • If damage is discovered after opening, take photographs immediately

  • Contact us within 48 hours with photos and order details

  • We will arrange replacement or refund as per our Returns Policy


9.2 Lost Shipments


If tracking shows "delivered" but you haven't received the package:

  • Verify with family members/neighbors/security

  • Check delivery location mentioned in tracking

  • Contact us within 48 hours if package not found

  • We will coordinate with logistics partner to locate the package

  • Claim process may take 7-10 business days

  • Replacement or refund will be issued upon claim approval


9.3 Insurance


All shipments are insured against loss or damage during transit at no additional cost to you.


10. FESTIVAL AND SALE PERIOD SHIPPING


During peak seasons (Diwali, Holi, New Year, Valentine's Day, etc.) and sale periods:

  • Dispatch times may be extended by 2-3 business days

  • Delivery may take additional 2-4 days

  • We will update timelines proactively on our website

  • Orders are processed on first-come, first-served basis


11. BULK AND CORPORATE ORDERS


For bulk orders (10+ units) or corporate gifting:

  • Dedicated support for delivery coordination

  • Multiple delivery addresses possible

  • Special packaging and branding options available

  • Delivery timeline to be mutually agreed upon

  • Separate shipping terms may apply

12. UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESSES


We cannot deliver to:

  • PO Box addresses

  • Military/Defense establishments without proper authorization

  • International addresses

  • Addresses in conflict/restricted zones


For special delivery requirements, contact us before placing the order.


13. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES


To ensure smooth delivery, customers must:

  • Provide complete and accurate delivery address

  • Include landmark and contact information

  • Be available at delivery address or arrange for someone to receive

  • Inspect package for visible damage before accepting delivery

  • Retain packaging materials for 7 days in case of return/exchange


14. SHIPPING POLICY MODIFICATIONS


We reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
